Sony is making an Xperia XZ2 with 6GB RAM, but not for you

Well, here’s some disappointing news about Sony and their new flagship. They’re making a version of the Xperia XZ2 with 6GB RAM, but only for Hong Kong and Taiwan. The rest of the world will have to settle for 4GB RAM, which honestly is still nothing to sneeze at. The upgraded variant is model H8296 and the phone should launch globally in March. If you must have the 6GB RAM model, you’ll have to try and import it. Just make sure your carrier supports whatever bands it comes with.

Oh, and Verizon and Sprint customers are definitely out of luck. But hey, there’s always the shiny new Galaxy S9
