Despite launching the official Oreo firmware to the OnePlus 3 and 3T handsets back in November, OnePlus is sticking with the open beta program for the two phones. As we near the end of 2017, OnePlus has begun rolling out Beta 29 for the OP3 and Beta 20 for the OP3T featuring an impressive changelog.
The two beta builds include the December Android security patch, some general bug fixes and improvements, an added OTG toggle in Quick Settings, and notification for when 3rd-party apps delete contacts. Other changes include:
OnePlus Notes app
- Take notes quickly and simply
- Share notes as a picture
- Memo widget on Shelf is editable
- Enhanced copying and editing ability
- New weather widget
- Added large files category
- Speed improvements while deleting massive files
If you’ve already signed on to the open beta program, you should receive the OTA update notification for the new OxygenOS firmware per usual. If you aren’t already enrolled on to the open beta, simply head over to OnePlus to download and install the relevant open beta firmware for you OnePlus 3 or 3T handset when OnePlus makes them available.
