This is going to sound a little like a total bummer for anyone who has a Motorola Charm, or Flipout, but here it goes… Motorola won’t be dishing out any Froyo goodness for those devices. There, I said it.
Motorola released an updated version of their update timeline chart, and it isn’t going to happen for the Flipout or Charm stating they “will remain on Android 2.1.”
We feel for you. But…it’s a great reason to sell that off to some teenager, and grab yourself a new fancy Gingerbread smartphone…oh wait…if you have one of these, you might be a teenager already. Jokes!
