Huawei launched its first Android Wear smartwatch back in 2015, imaginatively named Huawei Watch which was widely praised for its smart appearance boasting a stainless steel, fine leather, and sapphire crystal design. It is safe to say it was the most beautiful Android Wear you could buy at the time. Fast-forward to MWC 2017, and Huawei went in a totally different direction with its follow-up, the Watch 2, going for a chunkier, sporty approach with a rubber strap and sporting Android Wear 2.o.

I have the first Huawei Watch and I love it. I was very disappointed when they released the second one. It’s just not worth upgrading.
