A year ago when the Samsung Galaxy S 5 was released, we were witness to one of the most unusual durability tests imagined when the device was subjected to being run over by a Tesla Model S. The producer of that video is back again a year later, this time with a brand new Samsung Galaxy S6 ready to undergo the same torture test.

The initial test is performed with the display face up and unsurprisingly, the new glass back that Samsung has incorporated into their design takes a beating and would need to be replaced. The Galaxy S6 is then subjected to several passes of the Tesla S to see just how much of a beating it can take. After all this, the device is still functional, albeit it is no longer the smooth, sleek smartphone it started out as. Nevertheless, the fact that it still works is a pretty good testimonial to the durability that Samsung achieved with the device.

Check out the video below, but we would not recommend that you try to recreate this with your own vehicle.
