If you've been waiting for your very own Project Tango (and you already have an invitation), now is your time to make your move. The formerly $1024 tablet that performs real-time 3D spatial mapping is now only $512. The price has been effectively cut in half to bring it more in line with most developers' budgets.

This news comes from emails sent out to those who are holding on to Project Tango invites, but have not yet purchased a device. The email went on to say that the reason for the price drop is to encourage first-round developers to purchase the device before it is made available to more people. So if you find yourself wanting a Tango Tablet, be patient for just a little longer, and you will finally get yours soon.
