Last month, Pebble announced it had sold over 1 million units of its smartwatch and has some “big things” planned for 2015. Now it would appear that our wait for these things could be over sooner than previously anticipated. Earlier today, the manufacturer kicked off a mysterious countdown on the homepage of its website.

Unfortunately, the company failed to specify what exactly would happen once the countdown expired. We're guessing it's a press event, in which it will unveil the new style of its smartwatch and operating system its been working on this past year. On the other hand, it could just be an announcement of a new software update.

Either way, we'll have to wait until 10:00AM ET on Tuesday, February 24, to find out what Pebble has in store for us.
