NVIDIA SHIELD Tablet gets support for Chromecast Mirroring [Update LG G Pad 8.3 GPE too]

The number of devices that can cast screens via Chromecast continue to grow. We recently saw the Galaxy Note 4 added, and now the NVIDIA SHIELD tablet has been added to the list.

You can cast your screen by opening the Chromecast app, and selecting “Cast Screen” from the menu. If you have a Shield, try it out. It works great with Google Earth.

Update: As one reader pointed out, The LG G Pad 8.3 Google Play Edition was also recently added. Thanks Josh.
