AT&T is currently pushing out a relatively minor over-the-air stability update to all its carrier-branded Galaxy S4 Active smartphones currently located in the United States. Sadly, this upgrade doesn’t bring much in terms of added functionality, but it does include an updated edition of Google Maps, some security improvements and a handful of ‘system stability developments,’ aimed at enhancing connectivity when using voice calling and SMS.

Hit the break below for the full changelog.

  • The latest version of Google Maps
  • Security improvements
  • Improved connectivity via voice calling and SMS

If you own an AT&T-branded S4 Active and have not yet received the OTA update, you can head into “Settings,” then “About Device,” and select “Check for Updates” to manually scan for the upgrade. Alternatively, you can wait until you receive a push notification on your handset prompting you to download and install the update.
