Gameloft releases Modern Combat 5 trailer, pirates release the full game a little early

Modern Combat 5 will be available on July 24th, and Gameloft released an exciting trailer to wet your appetite. Interestingly enough, the game is already available thanks to underground pirating.

I am not condoning the pirating, but it appears Gameloft released the game a little early to a few people as part of a contest they ran on Facebook. How could you not think something like this would happen? One of the winners started the leak and now 1,000’s of players are enjoying the game a few days before it officially hits Android, iOS, and Windows 8 devices for $6.99

Gameloft Community Manager Florian Weber took to Facebook and said……“As you can imagine, I am really pissed off…Seriously, this is why we can’t have nice things.” What can he do at this point? He says if he finds specific people torrenting the game, he will instantly ban them from the game.

Assuming you are a good citizen and can wait a few days for the official release, check out the trailer below.
