With comments for YouTube now being done through Google+, not everyone is particularly happy. One of the many that are frustrated by this new system is the father of YouTube, Jawed Karim. Although Karim has not been a part of YouTube since Google bought the site, he voiced his anger about the new commenting system. And he emerged from the darkness and left a comment on his own profile. His exact words were “why the f*** do i need a google+ account to comment on a video?” There you have it. The kind words from Jawed Karim.

The tight Google+ integration has already gone live for the site. It even went live for the Android app without the need for a update in the Play Store. Now when you make comments on the video-sharing site, you'll be able to share them on your Google+ account as well.

  1. Apparently google employees posting here who didn’t like his comment.

Google is forcing their spyware on everyone. Funny how the hypocrites at google claim they are so angry with the NSA, when Google does the same thing themselves.

Google also forces every android user to have google+ just to leave an app review.

  2. so many google bitches here.
he’s completely right to be pissed off by that. in fact, i don’t know anyone who isn’t.

    1. It doesnt personally effect me, but people who were on the site before it was sold to google were promised they could use their old accounts and not have to sign up for a google one, now google has flipped its position, and are asking that people who want to use the site get google accounts, use their real name, and give up anonymity. That doesnt bother you?
