Ever since the Nexus 5 made a surprise appearance in the Google Kit Kat video, we have been yearning for a little more. Well today our prayers have been answered with a full hands on 7 minute video from smartphones.sfr.fr. You get a chance to see the device as well as Android 4.4. It's obviously an older build since it's running Key Lime Pie, but no word on exactly how old. Even the launcher isn't transparent like we are expecting with the version that gets released.

The timing of this leak is quite interesting, and one has to wonder if we will indeed see the officially unveiling next week as rumored. Hit the break for the video.

  1. 4 icons wide in app drawer even though the Nexus4 is a smaller screen AND lower resolution, yet has 5 wide.
    Why would they do that?
    I’m not buying this “leak”…
