Hands on with the HTC EVO 4G LTE for Sprint [Video]

I had a chance to get my hands on the HTC EVO 4G LTE tonight in New York City at the Sprint/HTC event. This is definitely the best EVO yet as it should be. The HD Audio demo here sounded incredible. What’s there ┬ánot to love about this beast. It has a 4.7-inch 720p display, a 1.5 GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 processor, 1GB of RAM, 16GB of internal memory, what might be the best 8MP shooter (f/2.0) in smartphone history, a 1.3MP front facing camera, microSD for up to an additional 32GB, LTE, Beats Audio, HD Audio, Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, and Sense 4. Pre-orders start on May 7 and priced very attractively at $199.00. Check out the hands on video. My apologies, I said it was the EVO One in the video because I couldn’t get it out of my mind.

Doesn’t that make it better than the US/Canada version of the One X(or One XL)…..

      Larger battery
      Micro SD slot
      Kickstand
      NFC
      .02″ thinner
      HD voice
      Dedicated camera button

…ok, I’ll go out on a limb and say this is better than the One X.

I’m still going to hold out on the Galaxy S III, after having been slightly burned by both HTC and Sprint over the past 2 years, I’m thinking a change is due. At least they did finally listen to the consumers that were and are quite fond of the original Evo ( Like me! ) and gave us back things they were taking away from us in the newer devices.
