Google holds a developer conference every year where it shows off its latest advancements in the Android OS, beta programs, and sometimes the unveiling of its next-generation of its Pixel A series of handsets. This year carries on the tradition but the difference is that it's a virtual event with a ‘limited audience' being held over a single day – May 10.
Google I/O 2023 sessions and the all-important keynote speech will be live-streamed free of charge. Besides expecting the Android 14 Public Beta program to be rolled out, it's likely that Google will also launch the Pixel 7a, its latest mid-range handset. May 10th could also be when the Pixel Tablet makes an appearance, either as a tease or as an actual product launch. And let's not forget the on and off and on-again Pixel Fold which Google is thought to be prepping for a Q3 launch, although it may postpone the debut of its first foldable smartphone yet again.
One thing we can be sure of is that Google Bard, the AI chatbot, will be talked about in-depth during Google I/O 2023.
