HTC to continue new letter-based naming scheme with the One V and possibly the One XL 4

With Samsung doing very well with their letter-based naming scheme, HTC is looking to the same. It only makes sense because how many different names can you come up with? It's the perfect way to simplify things since they recently announced a cut back on the number of phones they will release this year.

We've already told you about the official names of the Endeavor and the Ville. which will be called the One X and One S when they get unveiled at Mobile World Congress.

There's also another device called the One V, which Pocket-lint says it will be the “Ying to the HTC Rhyme's Yang.” It will feature a 3.7-inch display, 1.0GHz processor, and 1GB of RAM, 5MP rear camera, and Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. No mention if the processor is single or dual-core, but with 1GB of RAM, I would hope it's dual.

There's also some talk of a One XL, but no other details were given. So what do you guys think of this new naming scheme? I for one love it because it has become so hard trying to remember all these devices by name. Life will be a lot easier now.
