And the good ol' quality games just keep rolling in for Sony's Xperia Play. The rapidly popular gaming handset has managed to snatch up another exclusive game, EA's new FIFA 12. It's been reported that the game will hit the device early next year and rights will remain with it for at least a month after it's released. With exclusivity ending in February, it appears that the game will most likely be released or all to enjoy sometime in January. As far as quality and improvement goes, all we know is that the game will support higher frame rates. As we approach the release date, we'll be sure to dig a little more on features and report back. If you're among the growing list of Xperia Play owners, you've got to be loving the caliber of gaming coming your way. If this is any indication of the level of quality entertainment that's to hit the device, you're surely in for a treat.

That’s all well and good, but how about some REAL games?
Sony have previously shown that the Xperia PLAY (“PlayStation phone”) is capable of running the PSP (PlayStation Portable) version of LittleBigPlanet, LocoRoco and God of War… So where are they?
And even if Sony stick to PlayStation/PSOne games, the list of available PlayStation/PSOne games hasn’t become any bigger since the release of the Xperia PLAY (“PlayStation phone”) – at the time of writing, there is just NINE PlayStation/PSOne titles available since launch, with no new titles on the horizon!
