Storm season does not wait for a sale, but Jackery is at least making the prep cheaper. Its own store is running Prime Big Deal Days pricing from Oct. 4-7, and the best percentage drop on the page is the SolarSaga 500 X panel, down 30% to $699.

These prices are on Jackery's website rather than Amazon. If you want Amazon pricing, our earlier roundup of Jackery and other backup power station deals at Amazon has that side covered.

Whole-home backup deals

These are the two to look at if you are thinking about keeping a house running through an outage. The Explorer 5000 Plus is the bigger unit, while the HomePower 3600 Plus is the cheaper way in.

  • Explorer 5000 Plus: A 5,040Wh power station with 7,200W of output and 120V/240V support, per Jackery. $2,899, down from $3,499 Jackery
  • HomePower 3600 Plus: Jackery lists this one at 3.6kWh with 3,600W of 120V output. $1,554, down from $1,899 Jackery

Everyday and portable power deals

For camping, road trips and the occasional short outage, you do not need five-figure capacity. Both of these sit in the 1kWh-plus range and are a lot easier to carry. Jackery's own HomePower 1000 Plus v2 is the expandable alternative if you want room to grow.

  • HomePower 1000 v2: A 1,024Wh unit that is the entry point for the HomePower line. $514, down from $649 Jackery
  • Explorer 1500 v2: A 1,536Wh portable power station for longer trips. $759, down from $949 Jackery

Solar and expansion deals

A big battery is only useful if you can refill it. The panel and the add-on battery below are the two accessories on the page with the steepest cuts.

  • SolarSaga 500 X: A bifacial solar panel with an IP68 waterproof rating, per Jackery. $699, down from $999 Jackery
  • Battery Pack 5000 Plus: The expansion battery for the Explorer 5000 Plus. $2,299, down from $2,899 Jackery

Which one should you buy?

Most households will get more out of the HomePower 3600 Plus at $1,554 than the Explorer 5000 Plus at $2,899, unless you already know you need 7,200W. If you just want something for camping or short outages, the HomePower 1000 v2 at $514 is the cheapest entry here. Add the SolarSaga 500 X at $699 if you want to recharge without the grid.

Jackery says the sale ends Oct. 7, and its page also advertises deeper cuts on refurbished units and accessories. The capacity and output figures come from Jackery, so we're still waiting to see how they hold up in real-world use.
