Huawei's UK Amazon sale takes up to £84.99 off its smartwatches, fitness bands and FreeClip 2 earbuds, and the star of the show is the Watch D3 blood pressure watch at £369.99 (~$488) after a £30 checkout discount.
Android fans don't talk about Huawei's wearables as much as they probably should, and a sale is a decent excuse to start. Most of the deals end on October 7, according to Huawei, with only the D3 running until October 26.
Watch D3: a blood pressure watch with a cuff

Most smartwatches estimate blood pressure with optical sensors and an algorithm. According to Huawei, the Watch D3 instead has a small inflatable cuff built into the strap, which inflates around your wrist and uses the same oscillometric method as a traditional cuff monitor.
Amazon's listing says it can run a 24-hour automatic monitoring plan and take readings before and after exercise. It's 11.3mm thin and the body weighs 40g, which is slim for a watch with a pump inside it.
- Huawei Watch D3 (Black, Gold or Mocha Gold): £369.99 (~$488) after £30 off at checkout, was £399.99 Amazon
Band 11 series: GPS for under £55

The Band 11 Pro is the one to get if you run, because built-in GPS means the phone can stay at home. Amazon's listing gives it a 1.62-inch AMOLED screen, 14 days of battery and 5 ATM water resistance, which is a lot of tracker for £54.59 (~$72).
- Huawei Band 11 Pro (built-in GPS, Black): £54.59 (~$72), was £69.99 Amazon
- Huawei Band 11 (from, in Purple): £35.92 (~$47), was £49.99 Amazon
- Huawei Band 11 (aluminum alloy, Beige): £43.75 (~$58), was £59.99 Amazon
If you can live without GPS, the standard Band 11 is the bargain at £35.92, and the aluminum version is a nicer-feeling step up at 17g. Prices vary a little by color, so check the one you want.
FreeClip 2: open-ear earbuds for £42 off

The FreeClip 2 clips onto the outside of your ear instead of sitting in the canal, which means you can hear traffic and colleagues while your music plays. Huawei pitches it at commuters and anyone who works while listening.
Amazon's listing gives it a 10.8mm dual-diaphragm driver, an IP57 rating, Bluetooth 6.0 with multipoint and up to 38 hours with the case. It also lists the colors as Black, White, Blue, Rose Gold and Purple, with the Black pair at £137.94.
- Huawei FreeClip 2 (Black): £137.94 (~$182), was £179.99 Amazon
Watch Fit 5 and GT 6 series

The Fit 5 and Fit 5 Pro are the slimmer, sportier pair. According to Huawei, the Fit 5 detects cycling automatically and shows virtual power and cadence, while the Pro adds trail run navigation with elevation trends and golf maps for more than 17,000 courses.
The GT 6 Pro is the premium pick, with a titanium case that Huawei says is built for people who want more from a smartwatch. Amazon's listing adds sapphire glass, a 1.47-inch AMOLED screen and up to 21 days of battery, and we covered the GT 6's 100,000 watch faces when it launched.
- Huawei Watch Fit 5 (Black): £117.99 (~$156), was £159.99 Amazon
- Huawei Watch Fit 5 Pro (Black): £180.96 (~$239), was £249.99 Amazon
- Huawei Watch GT 6 (46mm, Black): £169.99 (~$224), was £229.99 Amazon
- Huawei Watch GT 6 Pro (46mm, Black): £245 (~$323), was £329.99 Amazon
The verdict
Not every Android fan wants a Galaxy Watch or a Pixel Watch on their wrist, and this sale is a reminder that there are plenty of alternatives. The question is which of these is actually worth your money.
The GT 6 Pro at £245 is the biggest saving here, at £84.99 off, and it's the one I'd grab if you want a proper flagship watch for less. The Watch D3 is the most interesting product in the sale, though, and it's the one to buy if blood pressure is the reason you want a smartwatch in the first place. If you just want a general fitness watch, the Fit 5 or GT 6 will do more for less.
Everything except the D3 ends on October 7, and several of these prices were already a little lower on Amazon UK than the figures Huawei supplied, so check the listing before you buy. A watch that checks your blood pressure with an actual cuff is either a clever idea or a very tight strap, and it'll be worth seeing how the D3 holds up in real-world use. We can't wait to find out.
