Google has officially announced Made by Google 2026. The date is Wednesday, August 12 in New York City. The event starts at 6 PM Eastern Time (ET). It's a week earlier than the 2025 event, and notably later in the evening than the usual keynote timing.
The official invite teases “the next generation of Pixel” alongside a close-up image of what appears to be a shiny gold metal frame. Guesses point at a new colorway or finish for the Pixel 11 lineup. After all, the event is where we may see the Pixel 11 series and Pixel Watch 5.

Press invites for Made by Google 2026 are already going out. Several press and internet personalities have received them, including YouTuber Marques Brownlee and 9to5Google editor-in-chief Abner Li.

Interestingly, Samsung is also hosting Galaxy Unpacked on July 22 in London, which is an unusual venue choice for the company. Samsung typically holds its Unpacked events in more familiar locations like New York, San Francisco, and Barcelona, or its home country of South Korea.
That aside, the invite shows a close-up of a phone corner with a gold metal frame and a camera module. Rumors have it that it's a new Pixel 11 colorway, although it's not the only thing changing about Google's phone design.
Android 17 beta code had already referenced an unannounced “Pixel Glow” hardware feature. It's expected to appear on the back of the phone and use subtle light and color to notify you of important details.
You would know when a favorite contact is calling while your phone is face down, or when Gemini is responding, much like the Glyph interface on Nothing Phone models.
Speaking of the Pixel 11 phones, it's highly likely that Google will showcase the Pixel 11, Pixel 11 Pro, Pixel 11 Pro XL, and Pixel 11 Pro Fold, alongside the Pixel Watch 5 in two sizes.

Not much information has surfaced about the Pixel 11 series’ specifications. But French deals and tech leaks site Dealabs and Android Headlines have exclusively revealed the full pricing and storage configurations for the entire Google Pixel 11 lineup ahead of the official announcement.
The 128GB storage option is gone. Every model now starts at 256GB, with 512GB available across all models, and 1TB reserved for the Pro, Pro XL, and Pro Fold. The 1TB variant on all three Pro models will only be available in Midnight Haze black.
The Pixel 11 is available in Light Sterling, Midnight Haze, Fuchsia, and Moss. The Pixel 11 Pro and Pro XL share Light Fog, Midnight Haze, Dune, and Pine. The Pixel 11 Pro Fold gets only two options: Midnight Haze and Pine.
On pricing in Europe, the Pixel 11 starts at €999 (≈ $1,140) for 256GB, up from the Pixel 10's €899 (≈ $1,025) starting price and representing roughly a €100 (≈ $104) increase across equivalent models. The Pixel 11 Pro, Pro XL, and Pro Fold start at €1,199 (≈ $1,368), €1,399 (≈ $1,596), and €1,999 (≈ $2,280) respectively.
The Pro XL and Pro Fold have a €100 net increase across all storage tiers, while the standard Pixel 11 and Pro remain comparable to their 256GB predecessors. Dealabs attributes the price increase to soaring RAM costs hitting the entire industry.
