Google’s Pixel 10a has a fine display for a midrange phone. There isn’t much to complain about on the panel, unless you were expecting anti-reflective features or more like the expensive flagship devices offer.

Reflective properties are already typical of most smartphone displays, and the Pixel 10a isn’t doing anything special to reduce glare. You could add a second layer of glass with a screen protector and increase resistance to damage, and address glares.

We've narrowed down great products for you to choose from.

Spigen AluminaCore screen protectors

$19.99

Spigen’s AluminaCore is the hardest glass on this list with 10H, ion-strengthened alumina-silicate. It may not come as a 3-pack like others, but the two it gives you are built to a higher standard, with lab-tested 100% clarity that keeps the Pixel 10a's color and 120Hz response untouched. Also included is an EZ FIT Pro tray that makes alignment foolproof on the first try.

ivoler 3-pack screen protector

$6.99

ivoler offers the lowest price per piece on this list. The three glasses are $2.33 each and are 0.33mm thin with fast and accurate touch response. They also have oleophobic coating and 9H hardness.

amFilm auto-alignment OneTouch protectors

$8.99

amFilm's Auto-Alignment OneTouch adds a 9H tempered glass layer that absorbs scratches and impacts in place of the Pixel 10a's P-OLED. It has an ultra-clear glossy finish that preserves the display's color accuracy and contrast, with no filtering of the 422 ppi output. There's also  a precision-cut tray that nails the exact 6.3-inch dimensions and punch-hole placement in one go.

Supershieldz bubble-free screen protectors

$10.99

Supershieldz offers 3 tempered glass protectors for $8, which is $3 each. You have two spares for phone life. The glass carries a 9H rating with a 2.5D rounded edge and an oleophobic coating that reduces fingerprint smudges and doesn't affect the 120Hz touch response.

LK tempered glass screen protectors

$9.99

LK’s protector has advanced anti-glare coating that cuts glare and distortion, alongside 99% light transmittance. It's an outdoor-visibility benefit for the Pixel 10a's display running up to 3000 nits peak. Even with an already bright display, reducing reflections lets you take better advantage of it because less external light is bouncing back into your eyes. LK also specifically mentioned fingerprint compatibility, which suggests the glass is relatively thin and the adhesive is uniform across the entire protector.

Lokyoo anti-scratch screen protectors

$9.99

The Lokyoo 2-pack screen protector offers privacy with a polarizing layer that blacks out your screen to anyone beside you. The screen reads as dark past 45 to 60 degrees off-center. Get two in the pack for $10 with 9H scratch protection and fingerprint support.

Pixel perfect protection for your Google phone

To get the most out of your Pixel 10a’s protection, buy a phone case. Although it has an aluminum frame, the back of the phone's back is largely plastic. Plastic backs are actually less likely to shatter when dropped, which is one advantage.

But they can still scuff and scratch. Together, your case and screen protector will cover the two areas most likely to take damage during everyday use and give your device a long lifespan.
