The Honor 600 Series has officially landed in the UK, and on paper at least, it's making a serious case for itself in the crowded premium mid-range segment. Two models, a 6,400mAh battery, a 200MP main camera, and processor options ranging from solid to flagship-grade.

The design leans hard into premium territory. A satin-finish metal frame, unibody construction, and ultra-narrow bezels give both phones a look that punches above their price tags. Both models also carry IP68, IP69, and IP69K water and dust resistance ratings, alongside drop and crush protection certification.

Both phones ship with a 6.57-inch panel hitting up to 8,000 nits of peak brightness, which is genuinely impressive for this price tier. A 120Hz refresh rate and adaptive dimming round things out for comfortable everyday use.

Performance

This is where the two models diverge most sharply. The standard Honor 600 runs on Snapdragon 7 Gen 4, which is a solid chip for the money at £549. The Pro steps up to Snapdragon 8 Elite — the same silicon you'll find inside phones costing considerably more — for £899. That gap is meaningful and arguably the biggest reason to consider going Pro.

Battery and Charging

The 6,400mAh cell is rated for up to two days of use, which is a bold claim Honor backs up with its AI Battery Scheduling Engine optimizing power consumption across tasks. Both models support 80W wired charging, the Pro adds 50W wireless, and reverse wireless charging tops out at 27W. Honor also claims the battery is rated for 1,600 charge cycles.

Both phones are built around a 200MP main sensor sitting on a 1/1.4-inch chip, a setup you'd typically see on something significantly pricier. A 12MP ultra-wide and a 50MP front camera round out the standard configuration. The Pro adds a 50MP periscope telephoto with up to 120x zoom.

Honor is also pushing AI Image to Video 2.0 as an industry first. The feature lets you combine up to three photos with a text prompt to generate cinematic clips of 3 to 8 seconds, with control over opening and closing frames. It sounds like a gimmick until you realize people actually use this stuff.

Price and Availability

The Honor 600 starts at £549.99 for 256GB, rising to £599.99 for 512GB. The 600 Pro launches at £899.99, with a £200 discount available through the Honor eStore, bringing it down to £699.99.

At that discounted price, the Pro is a genuinely interesting proposition — Snapdragon 8 Elite, IP69K, and a 200MP periscope system for under £700. Whether it delivers in real-world use is another question entirely. A full review will follow.
