Honor has released the first visuals of the upcoming Magic8 Lite, giving UK users an early look at a mid-range phone that’s clearly leaning hard into durability. The device is set to launch in the UK early next year, and the first wave of details paints the picture of a rugged everyday phone wrapped in the brand's usual sleek styling.

The headline upgrade is Honor’s new Ultra-Bounce Anti-Drop Technology paired with ultra-deep tempered glass. Together, the two components help the Magic8 Lite earn the industry-first SGS Triple Resistant Premium Performance Certification. It also earns the SGS 5-Star Comprehensive Reliability Certification, which confirms it can withstand drops of up to 2.5 metres on certain surfaces.
