You're likely very familiar with Comcast due to the services that they provide through their Xfinity brand. However, those services might come at an uncomfortable price point for you, and it'd be so much better if there was a cheaper option, wouldn't it?

Well, that's precisely why Comcast has launched a new brand, called NOW, and it seems like NOW is set to provide internet, TV, and mobile services for a lower cost and through a much simpler process as well. Let's talk about it.

NOW Might Be Your Answer For Cheap Internet, Both At Home And On The Go

Now, let's talk about NOW. Comcast's goal for this new platform is to provide a new brand to cover customers who want internet services provided at a much more affordable rate, and that's what NOW does.

First off, if you need internet for your household, then NOW Internet is calling your name. Using this, you get the option of two prepaid plans for internet, both with unlimited data: a top speed of 100 Mbps for $30 each month, or a top speed of 200 Mbps for just $45 each month. And considering NOW uses a monthly payment system, you don't even need to feel trapped in the plan if you don't like it. You can sign up, pause, or cancel your subscription at any time that you want.

You'll also need a reliable internet connection for when you're not at home and you're on the go, and that's where NOW Mobile comes in. On the internet front, you get unlimited 5G data, but you also get access to the 23 million Xfinity hotspots across the country, so you can stay connected wherever you happen to be. But this is a mobile plan at its core, so you also get calling and texting, and all of this comes for just $25 per line.

Plus, Comcast has also introduced what they call the NOW WiFi Pass. With so many Xfinity hotspots across the United States, it'd be a shame if you couldn't use them when you get the chance. With a NOW WiFi Pass, you get 30 days of access to all these hotspots. Normally, it costs $20, but if it is your first time using it, the first 30 days will only cost $10.

NOW TV Gives You Access To Live And On-Demand Viewing

Streaming services are everywhere and it's understandable since content is king. With the rest of the NOW portfolio comes NOW TV, which gives you access to TV shows, movies, and sports, along with over 40 channels, for just $20 each month. You also get Peacock Premium bundled for free, though you will need a separate account and the dedicated Peacock application to take advantage of that side of the deal.

The only caveat is that before you can take advantage of NOW TV, you need to be an Xfinity Internet customer. So it seems that regular folks on NOW Internet won't be able to take advantage of this part of the NOW portfolio, which is a bit annoying.
