Nubia are no strangers to packing their gaming smartphones with all the power you might desire and the upcoming RedMagic 8S Pro would appear to hold true to that tradition. Confirmed to launch on July 5th, the RedMagic 8S Pro could be the first phone to launch with a massive 24GB of RAM under the hood.
RedMagic's Weibo post confirmed that present of up to 24GB of RAM with the only real caveat being that it's not clear whether the 8S Pro will feature 24GB of physical RAM or a lower amount which is topped up by virtual RAM.
Rumors point to the RedMagic 8S Pro being powered by some variant of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset, whether its the stock version or the one used exclusively by Samsung in its S23 series is yet to be confirmed. It's also possible that it may be the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 2 although Qualcomm has yet to make an announcement on that particular chipset.
Otherwise we can expect a big, flat AMOLED display, the presence of ultra-fast charging, and a gamer-centric design. We'll have all the details for the RedMagic 8S Pro on July 5th, along with confirmation on whether a gaming tablet will launch alongsider the gaming smartphone.
