Amid the rumors of Vivo and Oppo pulling out of a number of European countries comes the news that the new Honor 90 series will make its debut next month. Having launched the impressive Magic 5 Pro and almost creaseless Magic Vs foldable during MWC 2023, Honor could be on track to snaffle up the market share being vacated by the BKK stablemates. Consisting of the Honor 90 and Honor 90 Pro, the new mid-rangers should feature a good mix of affordability and premium features.
The Honor 90 series will be unveiled at a launch event in Paris on July 6th, whereupon we'll learn just what to expect from the new handsets in terms of availability and price. We do know that the Honor 90 can be had in Black, Green, Ice Feather Blue, and Silver in the Chinese market. Looking at the Save the Date page for the Honor 90 series, only the Green and the Diamond Silver finishes are shown which may mean that we won't see the other colorways in Europe.
We can also expect premium features such as speedy wired charging (66W or more), an OLED display, and a main camera with tons of megapixels.
We don't have too long to wait until the July 6 announcement and we can be sure that there will be leaks in the meantime to help fill in the blanks.
