Vivo has confirmed that it will take the wraps off of its new X90 series of flagship smartphones on November 22nd, and now we have images and specifications for two of the three models thanks to a serial leaker. As it turns out, the X90 Pro and Pro+ will be powered by the latest chipsets from MediaTek and Qualcomm.
Ice Universe has posted images of both models, with the X90 Pro being powered by MediaTek's new Dimensity 9200 processor and the X90 Pro+ by Qualcomm's newly announced Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset. This means that we can expect stellar performance from the two handsets that will launch running Vivo's OriginOS 3 firmware which is based on Android 13.
The X90 Pro will be available in 8/256GB/12/256GB/12/512GB variants while the Pro+ will only be available with 12GB of RAM and a choice of either 256/512GB of storage which will almost certainly be the UFS 4.0 variety. Both phones will sport Vivo's self-developed V2 ISP and considering the brand's past history with Zeiss, they will also feature a special coating on the camera lenses.
We don't have too long to wait for the November 22nd launch although we aren't expecting the X90 series to launch in the US anytime soon.
