Motorola is back with yet another affordable smartphone, this time it's a riff on the Moto G Stylus that boasts a bigger battery, a new chipset, and 5G connectivity, all for $399. Externally, there's not too much difference other than the 5G version being slightly larger and heavier than the 4G variant. We've got the details for you after the break.
Boasting a large 6.8-inch display with FHD+ resolution, the Moto G Stylus 5G is powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 480 chipset which is accompanied by 6GB of RAM and 256GB of expandable storage. A big 5,000mAh battery is present that should be good for multi-day usage with 10W charging.
The quartet of rear cameras consists of a 48MP main sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide lens, a 5MP Macro camera, and one of those 2MP depth sensors. There's a 16MP selfie camera that is housed in the punch-hole cutout on the top-left corner of the display. Sporting a plastic body, the Moto G Stylus 5G also brings a 3.5mm audio jack along with a USB Type-C charging port, and of course, a stylus.
Going on sale from June 14th in the US, the Moto G Stylus 5G could be a good purchase if you ignore the looming presence of the OnePlus Nord N200 5G and the already launched Galaxy A32 5G from Samsung, both of which are much cheaper than the $399 cost of the Moto G Stylus 5G.
