How much did you pay for your last Samsung flagship smartphone? I ask because if you are planning on buying the soon-to-be-launched Galaxy Note 20 there's a good chance that you are going to pay more than ever before. After a previous leak hinted that the Galaxy Note 20 series might launch with a more accessible pricing strategy, another leak has dashed our hopes of an affordable Galaxy Note 20 base model with a tipster reporting that pricing in Europe will start from €999. Ouch.
The report comes courtesy of Ishan Agarwal and MySmartPrice, stating that the 4G variant of the Galaxy Note 20 with 256GB storage, only a 60Hz display, and a plastic rear panel will have a starting price of €999. The 5G variant of the regular Note 20 will cost an extra €100. The Galaxy Note 20 Ultra 5G is said to start from €1,349 in its 256GB guise while the 512GB option will cost €1,449.
Of course, if you were going to buy the Galaxy Note 20 and don't particularly care about the presence of the S Pen, you are probably better off buying the Galaxy S20 that launched back February with better hardware.
The tipsters also say that the Galaxy Buds Live will cost €189 in Europe when they are announced alongside the Galaxy Note 20 series during the Unpacked event on August 5th.
