My Notes

With more than 1 billion users, Viber is one of the world's most popular messaging apps, taking on the likes of WhatsApp, WeChat, and Facebook Messenger. Acknowledging that our daily lives are only getting busier, Viber has just announced its newest feature, My Notes, that promises to organize your biggest and smallest moments, simplify daily tasks, and perhaps most importantly, deepen your personal connections, all in a single place.

The My Notes feature is integrated into the Viber app, nullifying the need to download a separate app to keep your tasks and routines organized. Rolling out to users worldwide, My Notes adds the following functions and abilities:

  • Create to-do lists and check them off when complete
  • Save favorite messages, videos, photos stickers in one place
  • Sync to any device (e.g., mobile, desktop, tablet, etc.)
  • Set reminders for the most important notes

“Making everyday life easier for our users is crucial and with My Notes we take it to another level,” said Ofir Eyal, COO, Rakuten Viber. “Our users already value and trust Viber because of our privacy-protecting features and faster performance. We're excited for them to experience these new tools to effortlessly organize their thoughts, wishes and tasks all in one app.”

Are you a Viber user? If so, will you make use of the new My Notes organizational tool? Let us know in the comments below.
