Sprint so far has been one of the only big postpaid carriers to not offer any kind of rewards program. T-Mobile jumpstarted the idea and still generally offers the best freebies, but even Verizon and AT&T give away free/discounted movie tickets, gift cards, specially priced food, and a few other things.
Sprint's finally jumping on board, and while they're only starting the program with a free pizza and a sweepstake offer, this could end up being one of the better promos from any of the carriers with how aggressive Sprint is.
To get started, all you need to do is download the My Sprint Rewards app from the Play Store, punch in your phone number, and start browsing rewards. You can redeem a free one-topping Papa John's pizza today if you get in early, too.
Nothing really great yet, but keep an eye on it. And even if it is just a bunch of free pizza, hey, that's pizza you won't have to pay for.
