There's just under two weeks to go until Google finally unveils the much-leaked Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL on October 9th. Both handsets are both believed to support wireless charging, and a leaked press render of the accompanying wireless charger has appeared today all but confirms its presence. This wireless stand is known as the Pixel Stand, and we have more details after the break.
As you can see from the leaked press render of the Pixel Stand that comes courtesy of MySmartPrice, the base of the wireless charger features a cutout that houses the charging port which will almost certainly be of the USB Type-C variety. The orange base looks like it is made of a grippy material which should aid its stability and the angle of the charging element means that the Pixel 3/3XL will lean against it, offering a good perspective for viewing the display in case of notifications.
The FCC listing of the Pixel Stand mentions 9V = 2A and 5V = 3A input specifications that allude to the presence of fast wireless charging on the device. Normally, I would say that we'll likely find out pricing and availability on the official launch date, but this year Google has leaked like the proverbial sieve, so it's quite possible that we'll find out before October 9th. At this rate, someone will find the Pixel Stand left in a coffee shop with a Pixel 3 Ultra charging on it. To answer your question; no, there isn't a Pixel 3 Ultra. But you get the idea.
