Dashlane has dropped a major update to their password management suite, and it really pushes well beyond that boundary of just keeping up with your passwords and sensitive log-in information.
Like previous versions, it still does that stuff really well. Dashlane's Identity Dashboard keeps up with your passwords and generates a score based on how secure your accounts are, taking into account any reused passwords or if you're still using passwords from sites that have had data breaches. But now that Dashboard goes a step further and tracks more security facets than ever.
The Identity Dashboard keeps track of breaches and sites on the dark web in addition to your typical, publicly announced breaches, which means you'll know sooner than ever if one of your accounts was potentially hit with a compromised password.

But it's not all reactive features; Dashlane is now offering a VPN built right into their platform to help secure and encrypt your web traffic, cutting down on malicious attacks that might cause you to leak your password somewhere unintentionally.
That's where Dashlane's new Premium Plus plan comes in, too. With all of these new identity protection features, Dashlane is getting into the identity monitoring game. It costs a little bit more, but the Premium Plus plan offers real-time credit monitoring and up to $1 million in identity theft coverage in addition to the typical password manager plan. If you're already using Dashlane and want to bolster your digital security, it's a no-brainer. And if you're not using a password manager at all, well, now's the best time to start.
