Microsoft Office now finally works with your Chromebook 2

Google brought Android app support over to Chromebook awhile back, but not everything worked right out of the gate. It's been a steady march towards increasing compatibility and extending the feature out to more hardware, but you still don't have 100% access to every app on your Chrome OS device just yet.

With that being said, a major brick was put into place very recently with Microsoft marking their Office suite compatible with Chromebooks.

It was a fairly quiet announcement and it's still not clear if Office will work on every single Android app compatible Chromebook, but there are a ton that are definitely confirmed to be working.

If you've been waiting for this to happen with your Chromebook, you should be able to click over to the Play Store to get Microsoft's famous software installed without a problem.
