Moto X4 may launch with interesting price point 4

One of the devices we are waiting on to launch is the Motorola Moto X4. Motorola is bringing the X series back not as their flagship line, that goes to the Z series now, but at a notch below the top tier. According to a new claim from Roland Quandt, even though the hardware is pushing the high end of the middle tier, the price of the Moto X4 is going to push toward the lower end.

Quandt claims in a new tweet that the the Moto X4 will be priced at 350 Euro when it launches in the European markets. That puts the price at $411 USD, so it would not be surprising to see Motorola round that down a bit to a $399 price point in the U.S. market so they ca position it as a sub-$400 phone.

For that price, consumers will be looking at a Snapdragon 660 processor, IP68 water resistance and a 3800mAh battery. Motorola is on track to release the device with a dual camera sensor for the rear-facing camera according to previous leaks and rumors. With decent hardware and an attractive price point, Motorola appears to be on track to use a sales strategy similar to what they did with the popular Moto X Pure Edition, a former flagship device from the manufacturer.
