iHeartMedia at CES 2017 in Las Vegas announced a whole slew of devices and software that will soon be integrated with iHeartRadio, including Google Home and the Gear S3.
From iHeartMedia:
“iHeartMedia, creator of iHeartRadio – the all-in-one streaming music and live digital radio service — today announced five new integrations at the Consumer Electronics Show. These integrations will provide iHeartRadio’s more than 95 million registered users with new ways to access iHeartRadio’s vast collection of live radio, custom Artist Radio stations, podcasts and more.”
The big and notable names that iHeartRadio integration is coming to is primarily Google Home and the Gear S3; however, the integration will be available on the Samsung Family Hub as well as software services like DISH Music and Speak Music Melody.
Integration isn't yet available with Google Home, but it will be soon. When it is available, you'll be able to use Google Assistant to play your media from iHeartRadio.
What's truly neat, but much more niche, is the integration with Samsung's Family Hub, largely for their smart refrigerators. You'll actually be able to play iHeartRadio content directly from the refrigerator with this integration.
Integration should go live for these devices and software very soon.
