Nixon's all-new Mission smartwatch got an official announcement way back in March of this year, but we've heard very little details on it since then. Now, Nixon is opening up smartwatch pre-orders, aiming for a ship date of early October.
The Nixon Mission is pricey, setting you back a whopping $400. But, it's the perfect Android Wear-based smartwatch for outdoor environments. With a 10 ATM water resistance rating and shock resistance, you'll be able to take this smartwatch with you anywhere, especially the water.
Want to go swimming? No problem. The Nixon Mission can be submerged 100 meters below the water's surface. And with, Nixon's patent pending Miclock technology, you'll be able to use all of Android Wear's features while in the water.
The smartwatch will be available in three colors: Orange, Gray and Black. But, you'll be able to customize it in almost every way possible if you don't mind throwing down an extra $50. You'll get a ton of additional colors to choose from as well as band and bezel options.
The Nixon Mission starts shipping on October 10.
