When we initially covered the Moto ACTV in New York when the Motorola Razr was unveiled, we pretty much thought it was cool right off the bat. However, there is one little thing buyers need to be aware of when purchasing the device. It only works with Motorola devices. So, if you’ve purchased an HTC Rezound or a Galaxy Nexus, you’re kind of screwed. However, we all know it’s only a matter of time before our favorite dev community, XDA always comes to the rescue. Thanks to some talented folks, permissions from the app have been pulled and it will no longer look for Moto Blah, thus now allowing you to receive phone calls, texts and calendar events on a non-Motorola device which as an original selling point with the device.
Download: Just install it on your device the same way you would any other third party apk (with “unknown sources” checked off)
