In other exciting news, there are some very lucky individuals in Canada and the US. Those who were fortunate enough to have pre-ordered the quad-core Transformer Prime will have an early Christmas gift thanks to Tiger Direct and Amazon. The above image shows that Tiger Direct Canada is starting to ship the Transformer Prime to customers who pre-ordered. Further proof below shows they might be able to play with their shiny new toy by this Wednesday, December 21.
We're also hearing that Amazon is contacting customers who pre-ordered letting them know they expect to ship as early as next week.
What we can't say is how many of these pre-orders will be filled. Our guess is it won't be many and don't expect to see much supply in the retail channels. This is going to be the same situation as the original Transformer release. Most people probably won't get their hands on one until February. I hope I'm wrong. For those of you who actually get filled, congratulations, and please let us know in the comments.

I just went to best buy today and they had one in stock, but I think that was just luck, hope you guys get your soon!
I pre-ordered mine from TigerDirect on November 28th with 1 day shipping and just got the keyboard/docking station today January 6th. When I called about a week ago I was told I wouldn’t get mine until the first two weeks of January. Well, I have half the thing but unfortunately the half that won’t work alone. I am in Washington state, USA.
really? I pre-ordered with Amazon on November 22nd and they’re projecting mine will show up at the end of January (with 1 day shipping), and yes I called to verify.
this will not be found formally in stores by the end of the week. you guys are retarded. you’ll be lucky to find one of these in store by february. there are thousands of people who preordered that are not going to receive one this week. (including me) and i preordered. best buy sucks…. -_- so i suggest you edit your post, because if this thing lands in stores before i get my preorder i’m seriously going to go on a rampage.
