With their recent FCC approval, all signs are starting to point to the rumored December 12th launch of the new Motorola XYBoard tablets. Now it appears that accessories have already started to show up in Verizon retail stores and the dudes over at Droid Life got a hold of some pictures to confirm it. I guess this doesn't necessarily mean launch is imminent because if you'll remember, Big Red has been sitting on those damn Galaxy Nexus accessories for like over three weeks now. Predicting these Verizon launches has become a dangerous game and is something we tend to avoid until some real proof comes along.
Anyway, in case you missed out on some basic XYBoard info, the new Moto tablets will come in two sizes, 10″ and 8.2″ (media edition). Both tablets will be available in different storage sizes with the 10″ offered in the usual 16GB, 32GB and 64GB models with the rumored price of $529, $629, and $729 respectively, on contract. The 8.2″ media edition XYBoard is thought to only come available in 16GB and 32GB versions with leaked price tags of $429 and $529 respectively, also on contract.
Although a bit pricey and unfortunate that Wi-Fi only models aren't going to be available, these new tablets should be pretty sweet. As soon as we here more solid information regarding their launch we will definitely keep you updated. Stay tuned…

Tablet PCs are multi-purpose devices and it is a shame if you don’t know how to exploit the hardware. People prefer replacing their laptops with tablets these days mainly because of the level of customization that can be achieved with mini laptop gadgets. You don’t have to carry a huge laptop anymore, but the same functionality can be achieved with a much smaller smart device.
