A recent photo of the new Samsung T679 surfaced while passing through certification from the FCC. As we reported last month, Samsung has developed a new naming system based on letters that assign classification to their respective device. Although T679 won’t be the official street name for the phone, (we don’t really know the name yet for sure), the footprint looks exactly like the Galaxy W we showed you a couple weeks ago. It is also said that two new Galaxy phones are to be heading to T-Mobile, one known being the Galaxy S II, therefore making this theory more probable. If this is truly to be the case, the T679 will rock a 1.4 GHz single core processor, Android 2.3 Gingerbread, and have an internal memory of 4 GB that can be increased to 32 GB using a micro SD card. Although not a 4G device, Samsung believes this to be a “high tier” phone.
