The effort has been underway for a while to get Linux variants like Android and Ubuntu running on the HD2, but the touchscreen has been a problem…until today, when the guys at XDA-Developers got it working. Nothing is stable yet, but there is functionality with the touchscreen working along with the Linux bootloader now, enabling both Android and Ubuntu to run. Give ‘em a little more time, and they’ll have the last few kinks ironed out.
