The OnePlus 5 has been released worldwide, and you can get it today for $479

Check the calendar. It’s June 27, 2017. What’s the significance? The 2017 flagship from OnePlus has been released worldwide.

Starting today you can purchase the OnePlus 5.

The phone features a 5.5-inch Full HD Optic AMOLED display, Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 835, 6GB or 8GB of RAM, 64GB or 128GB of internal storage, 12MP + 16MP rear cameras, a 16MP front camera, a 3300mAh battery, a USB-C port, and Android 7.1.1 Nougat with OxygenOS.

If you look at the specifications, you’ll notice there are two models to choose from. And there isn’t any confusion since they come in two different colors. The Slate Gray model offers 6GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. The Midnight Black model, meanwhile, ups that to 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. Both are the same everywhere else. OnePlus doesn’t want to create a large divide between owners.

Pricing starts at $479 for the Slate Gray model and goes up to $539 for the Midnight Black model.
