The Oscars are prime video time for companies to show off their latest and greatest products, like we saw last year with Samsung's big William H. Macy collaboration. This year, though, it's Google's time to shine with one of their better services.
You can expect to see a short spot for Google Photos during the awards show tonight that showcases how great the service is as a backup utility and a way to preserve memories. It takes Google's usual spin on products by showing lots of family gatherings, friends hanging out, some cute animals, and other everyday things that we can all relate to on some level.
Google nailed a relevant and clever tagline for the commercial, too: “The award for best picture will always belong to you.”
