We’ve been eagerly awaiting an official release of Android 7.0 to Samsung’s latest flagship line, the Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge. It’s taken a couple of months, but the update is finally ready for the masses.

This update follows just a couple months after Samsung tested out a beta on their devices, which really isn’t too bad of a turnaround. It’s still not 7.1, but hey, let’s give credit where it’s due.

The update brings all of the newest features of Android 7.o to the S7 and S7 Edge, plus January’s security patch.

Like all updates for devices with multiple variants, this doesn’t necessarily mean your Galaxy S7 has the update available right this second, especially if you’re on a US carrier. Unlocked and international models will likely see the update first, and hopefully carrier models will grab it soon.
