One Canadian telecommunications company may have revealed when Android 6.0 Marshmallow is scheduled to arrive even before Google has a chance to show off its new hardware. So far, Google has only stated that Marshmallow's “consumer launch” would be this fall.

Telus', Canada's second largest carrier, issued a software release that shows when the Nexus 5 and Nexus 6 are expected to receive Marshmallow. The software update for both devices has October 5 as the targeted launch date. This is six days after Google is holding its event in San Francisco to debut the Nexus 5X, Nexus 6P, and an updated Chromecast. So Google could be moving very fast when it comes to getting its older hardware updated with the latest version of Android.

The alleged pre-order date for the new Nexus phones is October 13; therefore, it looks like the next 3-4 weeks are going to be very busy for Google.
