The phone a person owns says a lot about them, right? Samsung, and other manufacturers, think so. The company has announced the Galaxy A5 and Galaxy A3. Consumers focused on social networking are the target with these two devices. The design is what is important here.

The outside is a metal unibody and Samsung plans on offering it in multiple colors. The Galaxy A5 will be available in Pearl White, Midnight Black, Soft Pink, Light Blue, Platinum Silver, and Champagne Gold. The Galaxy A3, though, limits your choices to Pearl White, Soft Pink, and Light Blue.

The specifications for the Galaxy A5 and Galaxy A3 will not blow anyone away, but that is not the point. The two models offer 5- and 4.5-inch qHD Super AMOLED displays, respectively. Each has a quad-core processor clocked at 1.2GHz. The Galaxy A5 has 2GB of RAM while the Galaxy A3 has 1GB.

Photography is where the most valuable component lies. The rear camera is 13MP/8MP depending upon the model. But the front camera is the true star. It is 5MP for both devices. That is good for a front camera, but it doesn't really match HTC's Desire Eye that has 13MP up front.

Basically, the Galaxy A5 and Galaxy A3 are for young people to fulfill their stylish selfie-taking needs.
