Samsung to announce Gear Solo at IFA 2014 next month

A company can't just announce one thing at an event, right? Right. Although Samsung is widely expected announce the Galaxy Note 4 on September 3, the company is reportedly going to debut another smartwatch. This one, though, will be very capable. Yonhap News is claiming that the Gear Solo will feature a SIM card slot that will allow it to place calls thanks to its own connection. Since Android Wear does not yet support SIM cards, the Gear Solo will presumably be backed by Tizen.
