MTV releases official Android app, features episode streaming and companion experience

An official MTV app has finally arrived in the Play Store. The app offers some video streaming, among many other features, including being a viewing companion for when you're in front of the regular TV watching MTV on the big screen. MTV requires users to login using their provider's credentials to view full episodes via the app. As a viewing companion, the app will have images, polls, quizzes, behind-the-scenes content and more for primetime series.

In addition, the app also has music and fashion news, as well as content from MTV Other. You can download the new app via the link past the break.
