Android 4.1.2 being released to AOSP today 3

Following yesterday's news of the LG Optimus Nexus running 4.1.2, today Google Technical Lead, Jean-Baptiste Queru, announced that Android 4.1.2 will be released to the Android Open Source Project (AOSP) today. Given the slight, incremental update in the version number, this is viewed as a minor upgrade bringing it to build number “JZO54K” (for the Nexus 7) and is available on the jb-dev development branch as “android-4.1.2_r1.” While a full change log is not available, the Nexus 7 notification revealed the requisite, “improves performance and stability and fixes bugs.” For those that are running custom Jelly Bean ROMs, I'm sure we'll see 4.1.2 merged into the updates within the next 24-36 hours.
