Why does TFS not work on Asus Transformer 101 ( ICS )
Bryan
From what I discovered using it in ICS was flaky at best. I had ICS on my Evo when I first installed it. A lot of things did not function like they should and I had a lot of issues with it that I do not have at all on Gingerbread. So…. I’m thinking they still have yet to make it 100% compatible with ICS. With how few devices that are out there currently being used with ICS on them, I can understand why too. Hope they address this one soon.
So what features does it have that other launchers are missing? For $17, it better be a lot.
Has nothing to do with what it has that others have, it has to do with a unique look and feel. When it comes down to it all, that is all a launcher is. It’s to change the way our OS looks and feels, everything else is the same. I mean, what can someone do with a launcher that has not already been done when it comes to options offered other than looks?
I have this one and I have like 4 others that I tinker around with. The main one I use is ADW EX but…. I find I prefer Apex ( ICS Only ) over all, TSF is fun to use though, it does have a very unique -style- of it’s own and takes some getting used to. I like how it highlights the newest apps in your app drawer with flames so you can visually see it amongst the rest.
With the improvements they made in 1.4 here, it’s gotten a lot more flexible it still needs more work though. Like they finally put in a Landscape view option, but it needs to have a Auto mode that allows it to switch to this mode based on the angle your phone is held at. I use my phone as a GPS in my car, it’s in the cradle in a landscape position. I shouldn’t need to go in and tell it to go to this, it should do it automatically. Aside from that, it’s getting way better.
Once I can get a fully working, stable, ICS though on my Evo4G? It will be Apex all the way! :D
